dave donato is a professional Photographer as well as a professional DJ. I have been shooting all types of work for over 15 years, focusing primarily on Weddings throughout that time. I began as a club DJ in Boston and the Newport area in the early 90s initially just for fun, but somehow that also merged into the Wedding industry such that I now have two occupations. And I love each equally..! Both services are an offspring of my subtle, low-key personality.

I am not the line-dance, prop, interactive type of DJ. Nor am I the interruptive stop-pose-and smile type of photographer. Rather, I provide an elegant yet fun evening of music and my photography is much more of an artful / photo-journalistic approach to capturing the natural emotion and special moments of your day.
