We take a very photojournalistic approach to shooting weddings and events. Images are natural, documentary, creative, and candid. This philosophy is for those who seek a more artistic and nontraditional style as opposed to shots that are contrived and staged. Some formal group photos are of course taken, usually pre-wedding. The rest of the shots are unscripted. We believe it is the Artist that can truly see and instinctively choose moments, positions, and environments to document. In our findings, these documentary shots are the ones most often remembered, cherished, talked about, and displayed. Our passion is to shoot and create the actual images; not to push sales of prints and options. In addition to the actual time on site for your wedding, we spend 30-40 hours in the post-processing phase. Many photographers simply send their images all at one time as a batch in processing. Thus, applying the same color treatment, cropping measures, and enhancement features to all images at one time. In our digital dark lab, every image is individually hand processed. Each image is viewed for aesthetics and adjusted as needed for composition, color, contrast, and darkness/ lightness. Also, you the client can specify what percentage you want in black and white and color. . |
