We used DJ Connection for our wedding and they were wonderful! They were attentive, fun, and easy to work with during the entire planning process. They knew exactly what kind of dance floor we wanted to create and they brought our vision to life. The dance floor was never empty during our wedding because our guests were having so much fun. We didn't have to lift a finger for the entire day because they were so organized and prepared. Would highly recommend DJ Connection for any and all events!
We used DJ Connection for our wedding and are very glad that we did! They were great to work with and made the planning process very easy. On the day of, our DJ was great at keeping the crowd engaged while also being mindful of the event schedule. She even checked in with us to make sure the volume was ok. Because of her seamless coordination with our planner and venue coordinator, the pace of the reception didn't feel rushed or too slow.
Corbin was our DJ on April 6th for our wedding! We had a blast! He read the crowd and definitely achieved the goal to make my father in law dance! The whole team was very helpful and accommodating and made our night very special! Don’t hesitate to go with them! They are worth every penny 🙌🏼
I cannot say enough good things about DJ Connection! They were absolutely fantastic and they did an AMAZING job for our wedding. Everything was so perfect. Our DJ really knew how to read the room and the dance floor was never empty.
The pre-wedding planning with DJ Connection was overall good, but we ran into issues on our wedding day. I want to start by saying that our DJ was a very nice person - they were on time to the event and very professional. However, at times it seemed like they were not actually a DJ and we felt that they were not properly prepared by the company. When we went to introduce ourselves to the DJ, they told us that our original DJ got sick and that they were filling in. Of course I understand that these type of things come up, but this was not communicated to us ahead of time. We had a friend mix our first dance for us that we had choreography to. We shared this file with the DJ company before the event, but when I asked the DJ to confirm that they had the file for our first dance on the wedding day, the DJ communicated that “headquarters” did not load it onto his board but that he pulled it up on Spotify (which would have completely surprised us and ruined the dance we choreographed). We had to scramble to get the file sent to the DJ so that our first dance wasn’t ruined. Not all of our “must play” songs were played throughout the reception which I can understand since we had added a lot, but the DJ even played a song on our “do not play” list that someone had requested. Throughout the planning process the company specifically asked for a song to play for the “anniversary dance” which we provided to them. On the wedding day, the DJ announced the anniversary dance, but clearly had no idea what an anniversary dance was. Towards the end of the song someone tried to explain to him that he should be announcing anniversaries throughout the dance so that the last couple on the dance floor was the one who had been together the longest, but they went in the wrong order and it was already too late - we just had to scrap it. There was absolutely no mixing or blending in between songs and instead the DJ kept using a record scratch sound. By the end of the night, we couldn’t help from rolling our eyes every time we heard the record scratch. Overall, we wish we had just skipped booking a DJ and used a Spotify playlist instead to save the cash and avoid some of this headache.
Our DJ did not reach out at all before the wedding. The DJ pronounced our names completely wrong for the grand entrance “Eilieana” & marilyn” our names are Ilian and Meryl. He also cut our first dance song too early, which is frustrating because we paid good money to have our dance classes for our first dance which we didn’t even get to show. The schedules also did not match up. It was supposed to go right into the father daughter dance after the first dance and instead it went straight into dinner after the first dance
The whole process of finding and organizing the dj and music for our wedding from start to finish was very professional and our dj, James, did an amazing job. They did a good job assigning us a dj that matched the vibe we were going for at our wedding.
DJ Ashante did an amazing job at our vow renewal last night! He kept the party going and everyone had a great time! The whole process with DJ Connection was awesome and I would definitely recommend them.
Our initial phone call with DJ Connection was great; customer service was very professional. Day of the reception, our DJ mispronounced most of the wedding party's name (including common names) for the grand entrance. A song was played twice and instead of skipping it, the entire song played through again. DJ Connection was affordable and they played music at the reception. Overall, they were just "ok".
Our DJ that we got assigned Nick completely dropped the ball. We went to dance classes for months and this guy ended our first dance a minute early. Before that he completely butchered our names. After ruining our first dance he did not go in order after we spent 45 minutes with the coordinator giving clear insurrections and filling out their questionnaire. My dad was really close to helping this guy pack up early. This guy was a wedding memory we wish we did not have.
Channa and his team were great. In a mountain town it is hard to find quality vendors sometimes, its slim pickings! But Channa was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way. He worked well with the mountain staff and I had no worries that he would execute the day of, from ceremony to reception. He even coordinated directly with my dad on a surprise song for our father daughter dance, it was really special. I also had great reviews from my guests. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone.
It isn't often I get the opportunity to thank a vendor for a job well done, but these guys take the cake. Literally, they took the cake home with them.
I'm not sure the DJ was really into this job. he showed up, setup, started this AI thing, and then went home. The AI jukebox was cool, but we would have rather had a real DJ for the night.
OK, I'm a goat and I live in a pen but a couple days ago this human showed up with cool lights and music to my goat ears. We all hung around the trampoline and danced to the Cha Cha slide while buttheading each other. A fun day was had for all -- oops, gotta run - feeding time.
Bidens latest trip occurred only moments before he gave a speech at the Tioga Marine Terminal touting his economic achievements dubbed Bidenomics and championing his administrations green energy initiatives.
