In these uncertain economic times, one of the first things in the wedding budget to get cut is the photography. With so many people owning a digital camera now, I'm sure we all have a few relatives who would be more than happy to photograph your wedding as a present. Sounds like a great idea right? Before making that decision, first ask yourself, how many weddings have they photographed? Do they have the right equipment for many conditions that they present itself? What kind of editing will be done to the photos afterwards? It takes $1000's in equipment and years of shooting to be able to take the wedding photos you're expecting. Remember, after the cake is gone and the last dance is danced, all that's left is the memories and the photos. Shouldn't they be as special as the day they were taken?
